I just started recycling this year. Not only have we cut our weekly trash in half, but we have saved over $20.00 a month in trash hauler fees. Going green does not have to always cost you money.
Recycling just 13 plastic soda and water bottles can be made into a sleeping bag!!

I’m working on a couple of these–I’m starting to compost even though I live in a high rise and don’t have a yard and prefer not to have a worm bin. I’m using a small garbage can that I’ve drilled holes in and will put it on my balcony. Hopefully it will work out!
I’ve been switching all of my laundry supplies to more environmentally-friendly products. I stopped using dryer sheets and I’m currently experimenting with baking soda, vinegar, etc. to use instead.
Good luck on the resolutions everyone!
