My clothes don't become stiff when I hang them up to dry. That is because I place them close to a shaded area. Indirectly exposing your clothes to the sun is better. It gives breeze a better chance of drying your clothes up. Your garments will remain fresh and clean.

I found a great laundry line that is moveable and sturdy. Mrs. Peggs Handy line stows behind my closet door and is easy to pop up when I need it. You can find it at www.simplefamilyliving.com It is well built and worth the money. Now I can dry out side when the weather allows or on the porch or in the basement.

I never use a dryer. I always just hung up the clothes. It's not because I want to save energy. I think that it prevents clothes from looking worn-out.
