Tip of the Week – Clean Your Coffee Maker With Vinegar

coffee_makerIs your coffee pot working slower then usual and you’re ready to buy a new machine? Don’t!

First try cleaning it out with vinegar & water. Vinegar will help clean the calcium deposits clogging the machine causing it to brew slower then usual.

After a good cleaning & rinsing – your coffee maker should work as good as new.

I dont even know another way of cleaning a coffee maker (Or my machine that makes the hot water for the tea, dont know the name of it in english) then with vinegar.

With what else do people clean these things?

Here is another tip you might find useful.
To clean your microwave – Mix 1/2 of water with a few teaspoons of baking soda in a microwave safe bowl. Put the bowl in the microwave and run it for 2 minutes. Take out the bowl and wipe it clean with just a rag; every last spot will come out!
