Tip of the Week – Bar Soap vs. Liquid Body Wash
Using bar soap instead of liquid body wash is one way to greenify your life.
Why…well for starters there is less packaging used with bar soap. Plus, it weighs less than liquid body wash because liquid soap is primarily water, so the fuel costs for transporting it are higher than bar soap.
Also, bar soap is less expensive, so you can save green by going green.
while you’re at it, consider effects of soaps that are not phosphate free, not to mention the buzz around anti-bacterial soaps that is believed to be more harmful than helpful. there are eco-friendly, organic soaps that blend well when dissolved and won’t harm your body in anyway.
