Wasn’t it nice when mom and dad paid the cable bill? Bet you never thought watching TV could be so expensive. This is what college life is all about: living on your own and learning to make it in the world. But just because you work ten hours a week doesn’t mean you have to live in a less than acceptable home environment, or that you have to remain quiet on what kind of word you want to live in. We are laying down the foundation for the NEXT generation to one day run this country just as generations have in the past. A government has various duties to its citizens, but limited resources. Should defense spending take up a significant proportion of the national budget? Environmental laws generally promote pollution control or conservation. These environmental laws regulate both governmental and private activity. It’s time that clean energy and a clean climate are emphasized to every citizen through our country leaders as the catalyst to our future habitat on this planet. It’s time we STAND UP and say “Enough!” Your parent’s views are no longer yours; it’s your voice that counts now.
